Galaten 2:16

SV	[Doch] wetende, dat de mens niet gerechtvaardigd wordt uit de werken der wet, maar door het geloof van Jezus Christus, zo hebben wij ook in Christus Jezus geloofd, opdat wij zouden gerechtvaardigd worden uit het geloof van Christus, en niet uit de werken der wet; daarom dat uit de werken der wet geen vlees zal gerechtvaardigd worden.

Alex	ειδοτες [δε] οτι ου δικαιουται ανθρωπος εξ εργων νομου εαν μη δια πιστεως ιησου χριστου και ημεις εις χριστον ιησουν επιστευσαμεν ινα δικαιωθωμεν εκ πιστεως χριστου και ουκ εξ εργων νομου οτι εξ εργων νομου ου δικαιωθησεται πασα σαρξ
ASV	yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
BE	Being conscious that a man does not get righteousness by the works of the law, but through faith in Jesus Christ, we had faith in Christ Jesus, so that we might get righteousness by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law will no flesh get righteousness.

Darby	but knowing that a man is not justified on the principle of works of law [nor] but by the faith of Jesus Christ, we also have believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified on the principle of [the] faith of Christ; and not of works of law; because on the principle of works of law no flesh shall be justified.
ELB05	daß der Mensch nicht aus Gesetzeswerken gerechtfertigt wird, sondern nur durch den Glauben an Jesum Christum, auch wir haben an Christum Jesum geglaubt, auf daß wir aus Glauben an Christum gerechtfertigt würden, und nicht aus Gesetzeswerken, weil aus Gesetzeswerken kein Fleisch gerechtfertigt werden wird.

Sch	da wir aber erkannt haben, daß der Mensch nicht aus Gesetzeswerken gerechtfertigt wird, sondern durch den Glauben an Jesus Christus, so sind auch wir an Christus Jesus gläubig geworden, damit wir aus dem Glauben an Christus gerechtfertigt würden, und nicht aus Gesetzeswerken, weil aus Gesetzeswerken kein Fleisch gerechtfertigt wird.
Web	Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we may be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Weym	know that it is not through obedience to Law that a man can be declared free from guilt, but only through faith in Jesus Christ. We have therefore believed in Christ Jesus, for the purpose of being declared free from guilt, through faith in Christ and not through obedience to Law. For through obedience to Law no human being shall be declared free from guilt.
